FirstEnergy customer call centers will be fully staffed. Customers without power are encouraged to call 1-888-LIGHTSS (1-888-544-4877) to report their outage or click the “Report Outage” link on www.firstenergycorp.com. Customers should immediately report downed wires to their electric company or local police or fire department. Customers should never go near a downed power line, even if they think it's no longer carrying electricity.
The American Red Cross is opening a shelter located at the Northern High School, 653 South Baltimore St, Dillsburg beginning at noon. Those coming to the shleter should bring the following items: Identification, any medicines and medical equipment, pillows, towels, blankets, personal care items, bathrobes, change of clothes, books/magazines, personal items. For children and infants, please also bring infant supplies such as formula and diapers and items to comfort and entertain the children. It is strongly suggested that you arrive as early as possible.
