Information Details:

10/05 - First Friday at Dill's Tavern - Spend a candle-lit evening at Dill's Tavern enjoying our historical ambiance and spacious grounds with live music in the ballroom by Across the Pond on Friday,October 5th from 7 to 10pm. Admission is $10.00 at the door. Seating is limited in the ballroom, please arrive early if you'd like a seat for the performance. Refreshments included with entry. Guests must be 21 or older. BYOB. Bi advance ticket sales.

10/17, 10/18, 10/24, 10/25, & 10/31- Baby and Toddler Time at the Dillsburg Library is every Wednesday and Thursday beginning at 10:30am for ages 0-3 and their caregiver. Children will enjoy stories and play time.

10/11 - The Tech Guru will be at the Dillsburg Library to answer all your tech device questions. Drop in, no appointment required. This is a free service!!!

10/11 & 10/25- Sit, Stay, Read - Youth readers can practice with Bliss, a trained service dog who loves to listen. Register for a 15-minute block by calling 717-432-5613 or stopping by the front desk at the Dillsburg Library.

10/13, 10/15 - 10/20- Used Book Sale at the Dillsburg Library. Our fall used book sale begins Saturday,Otcober13th at 9:00am and continues through the following week during our regular open hours. W will have adult and children's fiction and nonfiction books, movies, puzzles, and audio books for sale.

10/13 - Story Time at the Farmers' Market - Join Miss Sue for stories, rhymes, and songs on the law at the Dillsburg Farmers' Market. All ages, drop-in event.

10/16, 10/23, & 10/30- Preschool Storytime at the Dillsburg Library is every Tuesday beginning at 10:30am. It's geared towards ages 3-5, but all are welcomed. Children will enjoy stories and a craft.

10/18 - Coding Club at the Dillsburg Library from 6-7pm. Solve a challenge or code for fun. Ages 8 and up. Registration is required by calling 717-432-5613.

10/22 - Geisinger Holy Spirit Innovations in Healthcare: Detecting Cancer - Researchers will discuss the possibility of detecting cancer through a simple blood test. This seminar is free, but registration is requested at : events.geisinger.org or by calling 717-972-4289

10/24 - Creative Writing Workshop - Tyler Barton of Fear No Lit teaches 5 techniques to spark creative writing. Open to all skill levels. Registration is required by calling 717-432-5613.

10/24 - Girl Scout STEM Mobile at the Dillsburg Library from 6-7 pm. Stop by to see how you can use virtual reality to explore science, technology, engineering and math. You do not have to be a Girl Scout or even a girl to attend. Ages 6-12. No registration is required.

10/27 - Crafting for Adults: Fall Cards - Lori Staley leads us in the creation of seasonal cards. There is a $5.00 fee for supplies. RSVP is required by October 24th - call 717-432-5613.

10/27 - Hallow's Eve at Dill's Tavern - Prepare to be shocked. awed, and entertained by seven spooky historical vignettes at Dill's Tavern this Halloween season! For one night only, small groups will enter the tavern in complete silence and be led back in time on a daunting journey that is as unique as it is unforgettable. Tours run from 6:30 until 10:001 pm on Saturday, October 27th. Entry is $10.00. Because of the nature of this event, we recommend that children under 10 years old are accompanied by a parent.

10/30 - Silly Ghost Stories at the Dillsburg Library from 6-7 pm. Join Miss Sue for silly ghost stories around a "campfire" (we will be indoors). All ages.
