Information Details:

03/01, 03/07, 03/08, 03/14, 03/15, 03/21, 03/22, 03/28, 03/29- Baby and Toddler Time at the Dillsburg Library is every Wednesday and Thursday beginning at 10:30am for ages 0-3 and their caregiver. Children will enjoy stories and play time.

03/01 - New Hope Ministries will be holding an Open House and Dedication of its newly constructed Dillsburg Center, located at 99 West Church Street. This event is free and open to the public. The dedication ceremony is scheduled to take place at 4:00pm. Those attending are asked to bring a donation for the pantry.

03/01 - Lego Club is for children ages 6 and up and is held the first Thursday of the month at the Dillsburg Library. We will provide Legos for this event. This program is free and no registration is required.

03/05 - Artist Reception at the Dillsburg Library beginning at 6:00pm. Joseph D'Alessio will be on hand to show his paintings and talk about his artistic process.

03/06, 03/13, 03/20, 02/27- Preschool Storytime at the Dillsburg Library is every Tuesday beginning at 10:30am. It's geared towards ages 3-5, but all are welcomed. Children will enjoy stories and a craft.

03/08 - The Tech Guru will be at the Dillsburg Library to answer all your tech device questions. Drop in, no appointment required.

03/08 & 03/22 - Sit, Stay, Read - Youth readers can practice with Bliss, a golden retriever who loves to listen. Register for a 15-minute block by calling 717-432-5613 or stopping by the front desk at the Dillsburg Library.

03/11 - All you can eat roast beef dinner on Sunday, March 11 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm (or until sold out) at the Franklintown Fire Company. Cost is $10.00; $5.00 for 6-12 and 5 and under eat free. Take outs available.

03/14 - Origami at the Dillsburg Library from 5:30-7:30pm. Learn the art of Japanese paper folding. Free. Ages 8 and up. Registration is required by calling 717-432-5613.

03/15 - Block Party at the Dillsburg Library from 6-7pm. Come ready to build! This is for children ages 3-5. They play with blocks of different shapes and sizes to stimulate the imagination. Drop-in event.

03/17 - Pancake and Sausage Breakfast at the Maple Shade Barn from 8:00am until the food runs out. Cost is $7.00 and children 5-12 years of age cost is $4.50. Join us for fresh maple syrup, pancakes and sausage at a breakfast where we showcase the amber bounty harvested by the volunteers of this year's Maple Tree Tapping. 03/19 - Backyard Composting at the Dillsburg Library beginning at 6:30pm. John Geoghan of Penn State Master Gardeners will discuss how to recycle kitchen and the yard waste into a humus-like soil amendment, including what kinds of waste can be recycled, methods to use and what to do with the finished product. No registration is required to attend this event.

03/26 - Live a Life with Less Pain at the Dillsburg Library beginning at 4:00 pm. Join us for a program by the orthopedics team of Geisinger Holy Spirit on managing pain for a better life. The first in series, this month's seminar will focus on dealing with foot and ankle pain. Geared toward older adults. No registration is required.
